FOUNDATION
Creating a Cross-Platform Design System
To create a consistent and intuitive experience across both platforms, I built a dedicated mobile design system that respects the human interaction models of iOS and Android without compromising brand identity.
Studied iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design to define spacing, typography, and interaction patterns
Developed reusable components and layout templates that adapt to platform-specific conventions (e.g. navigation headers, modal behaviours, back gestures)
Created a scalable design framework that reduced design-developer friction and accelerated future iterations
INTERFACE
Streamlined for Mobile
The app’s interface was refined to improve clarity, flow, and user focus:
Removed non-essential SEO content
Optimised scroll and gesture behaviours for mobile-native experiences
Improved visual hierarchy for quicker scanning and browsing
FUNCTIONALITY
The Mobile Shopping Experience
AR Try-On: Allow users to virtually try on shoes and sunglasses, giving them confidence to purchase
Image Search: Users can snap or upload photos to discover similar products from the brand
Membership ID: Quick in-app access to member information bridges retail and online shopping
Push Notifications: Keeps users engaged with order updates, promotions, and personalised content
POTENTIAL IMPACT
Scalable Design That Drives Engagement
By prioritising a scalable mobile design system, the app is better positioned to:
Deliver consistent and familiar UX across platforms
Strengthen brand presence across digital and physical channels
Enable quicker design and development cycles for future updates
